Under Clinical Supervision

Emily Williams, Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor, LGP12065 is practicing under the supervision of Ashley Saltzman (Maryland, LCPC, LC6911) at Feel Good Psychotherapy LLC.

Please, note: A clinician listed as being “clinically supervised” is completing clinical hours toward their licensure. They have one or more fully licensed clinical supervisors that often have special training to become supervisors. They consult with their supervisor(s) on all of their cases, which means that, when working with them, you are getting the time and expertise of multiple therapists in your treatment.

What does success look like in therapy? How will a client know that they are making progress?

One of my favorite parts of this job is being let go. I love the session when a client tells me how much better their life has gotten and that they’re ready to try things out without therapy. I always let clients know they’re welcome to come back if they need to, but it’s so exciting and joyful when people don’t need my help to maintain the changes they’ve made to live a happier life.
