Work HistoryWe all want relationships that feel supportive, meaningful, and real — but getting there often takes intention and guidance. That’s where our work together begins.
Relationships can be tough terrain. You might notice anxiety when meeting new people, feel pulled off-center by trauma responses, struggle with tense communication, get caught in big arguments, or slowly feel distance growing between you and someone important. These experiences are human — and they’re manageable with the right insight and tools.
I start by helping you get clear on the “what.” What feelings or patterns are showing up in your daily life? Then we explore the “why.” Why are these emotions so strong? Why does the past continue to influence how you show up now?
Once we understand that, we move to the “how.” How do you navigate these emotions in a healthy way? How can you develop the skills that create the relationships you’re hoping for? Depending on your needs, I draw from Brainspotting, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Gottman Couples Therapy, art and attachment-based approaches, psychodynamic and existential perspectives, somatic practices, CBT, and nature-assisted therapies.
I also incorporate animal-assisted therapy with my dog, Teddy, who brings warmth and comfort to sessions.
If you’re curious about working together, I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect, ask questions, and get a feel for whether it’s a good match.
