Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I've always loved authentic connection and understanding what makes people who they are. After working for a decade in production and entertainment, my own transformative experiences in therapy led me to pursue my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling because I wanted to offer that same kind of support to others. I'm especially passionate about working with the queer community because, as a gay man, I know firsthand the courage it takes to live authentically and the importance of having someone in your corner who truly gets it.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I believe counseling is a collaborative process built on empathy, respect, and genuine connection. You know yourself best, and I'm here as your partner to help you explore what's weighing on you. My goal is to meet you with compassion and care, creating a space where you feel truly seen and understood. Together we'll look at where you are now, what matters most to you, and build a path forward that feels right for you. We'll explore what's holding you back and discover how you can move toward becoming the person you want to be.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use a mix of approaches tailored to you. We'll explore the stories and patterns shaping your life, draw from what you already know about yourself, and use practical tools to shift unhelpful thoughts. My work is grounded in queer and feminist values that honor your whole identity. I create a non-judgmental space where you feel seen, affirmed, and empowered.
