Work HistoryI have spent almost two decades working at the intersection of individual well-being and the larger systems that shape it. Much of my early career was in organizational and human resources work inside large institutions, where I helped individuals and teams navigate stress, change, conflict, and the demands of high-pressure environments. That experience gave me a deep understanding of how work, relationships, and identity affect mental health, and it remains a real strength when I support individuals who are carrying career strain, burnout, or major life transitions. Alongside that work, I trained and became licensed as a clinical social worker, which is where my passion for direct therapeutic care took root. I have supported individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life adjustments, and the search for greater meaning and balance. I take a lifespan approach to this work, recognizing that our earliest experiences continue to shape how we relate to ourselves and others well into adulthood, including in the work we do and the lives we build. Today I bring both threads together. I currently serve as an assistant professor of social work, and I maintain a clinical practice grounded in evidence-based and compassionate care. The combination allows me to see each individual as a whole person living within real relationships and environments, and to tailor our work to what will genuinely help them move forward.
