What do you view as a key component of the therapeutic relationship?
I firmly believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most powerful catalysts for change. Research consistently shows that a strong, trusting connection between therapist and client is one of the top predictors of success in therapy. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, valued, and empowered to explore their experiences. By fostering this alliance, we can work collaboratively to unravel deep-seated patterns and build the skills necessary for healing. The relationship we build together becomes a foundation for transformation, allowing clients to confront challenges with greater resilience and clarity. I am deeply committed to being an active and empathetic partner in this process, offering support as clients navigate their unique journey toward growth and recovery.
What does a first session with you look like?
In our first session, I strive to create a relaxed and stress-free environment, with the goal of simply getting to know you better. There's no need to worry about having the "right" words or a perfect way to share your story—authenticity is what matters most to me. I want you to feel comfortable, knowing that your thoughts and feelings will be met with understanding and compassion, no matter how they come across. This initial meeting is all about building a foundation of trust, where you can speak freely, at your own pace, without any pressure to fit into a specific mold. Whether you share your experiences through words, feelings, or even silences, I’m here to listen and support you as we begin this journey together.

Work History
I became a therapist driven by a deep passion for helping individuals heal from complex emotional trauma. Early in my career, I quickly recognized a significant gap in specialized care for survivors of narcissistic abuse and individuals struggling with narcissistic tendencies. This realization sparked my dedication to focusing on these often overlooked issues. I opened Two Lights Therapy Center, a practice based in Chicago, in the hopes of working specifically with folks affected by narcissism. My work centers on understanding the intricate dynamics of narcissism and attachment—how early relationships shape our sense of self and influence our interactions with others. I specialize in helping clients navigate the long-lasting effects of narcissistic abuse, rebuild their sense of self-worth, and develop healthier, more secure attachments. I believe that by addressing both narcissistic behaviors and their emotional roots, we can foster healing and create lasting change for those affected by these complex relational dynamics.
