Under Clinical Supervision

Erika Rogers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, 145348 is practicing under the supervision of Kaitlin Stone (California, LMFT, 117116) at AMFT.

Please, note: A clinician listed as being “clinically supervised” is completing clinical hours toward their licensure. They have one or more fully licensed clinical supervisors that often have special training to become supervisors. They consult with their supervisor(s) on all of their cases, which means that, when working with them, you are getting the time and expertise of multiple therapists in your treatment.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

When it comes to therapy, I'm all about creating a safe space that feels comforting, and supportive, but also I like to take the stuffiness out of the idea of therapy. I recognize that therapy can be challenging, and opening up to someone new can feel overwhelming and awkward. Developing a strong client connection is so important to my approach, and I'm all about meeting you where you're at, no judgment, no rush. Whether you're struggling with eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, or OCD, I've got you. We'll dig deep, and find that light at the end of the tunnel. And here's the thing – I'm not here to just smile and nod and say 'mmmhmm.' I'm going to be in it with you the whole way. Because your journey is my journey, and we're going laugh, cry, and be in this together.

Work History

As an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), I offer therapy both via online (Telehealth) and in-person. My journey into psychology was shaped by my experiences as an actor in the entertainment industry, where I gained valuable insights into human behavior and resilience. Navigating the highs and lows of showbiz gave me a unique perspective on life's challenges, which I now bring into my therapy practice. From audition nerves to the pressures of fame, I've seen it all – and it's fueled my passion for helping others navigate similar struggles. While I have a special connection to individuals in the entertainment industry, I'm here to support anyone dealing with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, ADHD, OCD, and addiction. My approach to therapy is deeply personal and collaborative. I believe in crafting personalized strategies tailored to each client's unique journey. While my roots are in psychodynamic therapy, I love to incorporate diverse approaches like client-centered, CBT, DBT, and somatic techniques.
