In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I have an outgoing personality and drive to help others which has made it easy for me to lead with compassion and empathy, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space fostering trust with my clients.
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Learning the importance of healing from trauma (childhood, sexual, domestic violence, etc) guided my path to becoming a therapist. Ridding of mental health stigmas (especially in minority communities) played a big role in inspiring my choice of profession.

Work HistoryMy initial background was in corporate America (finance/customer service). It was not fulfilling for me, I felt like I missed my calling. Returning to school and pursing a profession in clinical counseling has filled that void. My Masters studies allowed me to have a support team to learn the different interventions and finding my voice to help others in this field.
