What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My career is driven by my passion for the human mind; an interest that began back in Psychology 101 during my undergraduate studies. I have always had a "knack" for recognizing patterns in general, and I am equally fascinated by identifying the underlying cause of symptoms. Therefore, the "detective work" required in psychological testing has long felt like a perfect fit for me. I specialize in psychological testing because it uniquely combines analytical problem-solving with compassionate care. I approach each assessment as a collaborative process of discovery, helping clients understand the pieces of their own puzzle. Providing this therapeutic and clarifying experience is why I do what I do, and it continues to be my greatest passion.
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I pride myself on being an authentic and down-to-earth provider who understands the importance of truly listening to my clients and wholeheartedly believing their stories and experiences. I find that this quality helps me connect with my clients, and provides them with (often much needed) validation. My approach is collaborative—I work with you, because no one knows you better than you do. My role is to listen to your story, help you understand your strengths and difficulties, and guide you as you learn more about yourself through the testing process. Together, we’ll devise a creative path forward, using what makes you unique to build a life that truly fits.
If you could pick one movie or book that influenced your approach to therapy, what would it be and why?
"Is This Autism? A Guide For Clinicians and Everyone Else" by Dr. Donna Henderson and Sarah Wayland, with Jamell White -
Discovering this book was a life-changing experience for me. It opened my eyes to the neurodiversity movement and became the catalyst for my passion to improve care for neurodiverse individuals.

Work HistoryIn my current practice, the assessment process is intentionally designed to be a collaborative and therapeutic experience for adults seeking clarity about their neurotype. I operate from the belief that neurodivergence is a natural form of human variation. My assessments focus on identifying and affirming a person's unique profile, rather than focusing on deficits. I conduct comprehensive evaluations for Autism and co-occurring ADHD that prioritize identifying a client's inherent strengths, skills, and abilities. Clients are active participants in their assessment journey. The goal is not just to provide a label, but to facilitate a deeper, more compassionate understanding of self.
