Work HistoryI am deeply passionate about helping individuals flourish and achieve fulfillment within themselves and in their relationships. I believe that we are all capable of healing and becoming the best versions of ourselves while tackling the many hurdles and challenges that life throws our way. When working with clients, I believe in supporting them through an authentic and collaborative approach, in a safe, comfortable, and healing space. I believe that we are all a combination of our childhoods, cultures, backgrounds, relationships, and unique different life challenges and circumstances. And while all of these have inevitably shaped us, we are in control of redesigning our future lives and achieving fulfillment. I am passionate about supporting my clients as they redefine the meaning of their past stories and experiences, and empowering them as they write the pages of their future ones. Born and raised in Venezuela, I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I moved to Miami 10 years ago to pursue my Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Human and Social Development at the University of Miami. Post-graduation, I confirmed my passion for Psychology and therapy by working for multiple years in the field of eating disorders. This complex field where clients are often struggling with multiple psychological, physical, and relational challenges, made my desire to become a therapist exponentially grow. To accomplish this, I returned to The University of Miami, where I earned my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. While completing my Master’s, I also worked as a preschool teacher and as a registered behavior technician providing ABA therapy to children with autism. When I am not working as a therapist, I enjoy exercising, listening to audiobooks, spending quality time with loved ones, or traveling and experiencing different cultures with my husband.
