The George Washington Unversity, Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling
Work HistoryMy experience has been primarily at risk teens involved in Juvenile Hall and in transition from high school, adults and families in a state setting; ages 16 and up, experiencing chronic illness, dual diagnoses, depression, anxiety, seizures, bipolar and psychosis, substance use, and families experiencing significant lifestyle changes. Overall my work has centered on supporting monolingual Spanish speaking parents/ youth, multicultural families, youth and adults in the legal justice system, and individuals with at risk mental health symptoms. I am deeply humbled and value connecting with such diverse populations. I believe each client is unique and offers an individual lived experience, background and culture.
