What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Gabi Baylor is a dedicated associate psychotherapist who supports teens, adults, and families. She relates to helping a person to identify individual needs and lead with their strengths. She supports one to enhance their personal and professional growth through commitment and determination. Having developed a severe chronic pain condition at a young age, she adjusted her lifestyle to foster independence and success. She hopes to provide a compassionate environment for one to explore their situation and identify needs to inspire positive lifestyle changes.

Work HistoryMy experience has been primarily at risk teens involved in Juvenile Hall and in transition from high school, adults and families in a state setting; ages 16 and up, experiencing chronic illness, dual diagnoses, depression, anxiety, seizures, bipolar and psychosis, substance use, and families experiencing significant lifestyle changes.
Overall my work has centered on supporting monolingual Spanish speaking parents/ youth, multicultural families, youth and adults in the legal justice system, and individuals with at risk mental health symptoms. I am deeply humbled and value connecting with such diverse populations. I believe each client is unique and offers an individual lived experience, background and culture.
