Work HistoryI am a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Board-Certified Counselor (NCC), and specialize in working with adults aged 18 to 100 years, experiencing trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, have difficulty meeting expectations and or performance objectives, experience low self-confidence/low self-esteem, or are facing life pressures. My theoretical orientation is behavioral psychology that involves evidence-based cognitive therapies supported by the integration of performance psychology mental resiliency skills for therapeutic coping and recovery. I apply an integrated approach to psychotherapy focused on how thinking affects behavior, and how replacing negative thoughts and emotions with positive thoughts and emotions creates a ‘new normal’ for productive mental wellbeing and positive daily living. My passion lies in supporting US veterans, first responders, athletes and those in high performance occupations. I also deeply connect with those facing significant life issues and crises. If you identify with these groups and are seeking compassionate, expert guidance to navigate life's challenges, my psychotherapy works, and it will work for you.
