Work HistoryBefore starting my private practice, I spent years working where mental health and social justice meet—supporting people in the legal system who were facing trauma, emotional instability, and systemic barriers. I saw firsthand how stress, anxiety, and burnout don’t just affect your mind—they can take over your relationships, sleep, work, and sense of self. And I learned that real healing often starts with building a strong foundation - simply being heard without judgment. In my work, I’ve supported adults, young adults, professionals, LGBTQ+ clients, and first-generation individuals who are juggling cultural expectations, family responsibilities, life and relationship stressors, career, financial, and school hardships, and big questions about identity and belonging. My background in both law and social work helps me understand the invisible pressures so many people carry—and how therapy can help you start unpacking it all in a space that’s truly yours. Over time, I became especially drawn to trauma work, identity exploration, and helping people reconnect with themselves. That led me to advanced training in EMDR and TEAM-CBT—approaches that go beyond just talking. They offer tools to shift the patterns that keep you stuck, so you can finally start to breathe, heal, and move forward.
