Work HistoryOver the years, I have developed a deep understanding of psychological care and mental health across various populations. My private practice, which I have run since 2004, has been a cornerstone of my professional experience. Here, I provide individual, group, and family therapy to children and adults, addressing challenges like anxiety, depression, PTSD, and neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injuries and dementia. This work has allowed me to refine my ability to connect with clients, tailoring interventions to meet their specific needs. In addition, I have conducted comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments, guiding clients and their families through results and offering recommendations that empower them to navigate challenges with confidence. I am also an external consultant for the Department of Veterans Affairs, focusing on evaluations that support veterans in securing the resources they need. Through my leadership in the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Intercultural Learning (DEIJI) initiative, I have gained practical insight into promoting inclusive practices in both educational and clinical environments. My time with various institutions, has helped me develop specialized skills in early childhood intervention, crisis management, and program coordination. These roles have honed my ability to design and implement mental health programs that make a tangible difference in underserved communities. Every role I’ve taken on, from providing hands-on therapy to leading large-scale mental health initiatives, has been an opportunity to deepen my skills in psychology, education, and community care. Whether working directly with clients or mentoring future psychologists, I remain dedicated to using my expertise to promote well-being and foster resilience.
