Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
When we begin our journey together, it's essential for you to know that building a strong, trusting relationship is our first priority. I believe that the foundation of effective therapy lies in the connection we establish, where you feel seen, heard, and understood. My approach is rooted in four key pillars: trust, courage, bravery, and humor. Trust is the cornerstone of our work. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share your thoughts and feelings openly. Trust allows us to explore your experiences deeply and honestly, paving the way for meaningful progress. Courage is essential in therapy. It takes immense bravery to confront your challenges and vulnerabilities. I will be there to support and encourage you every step of the way, helping you find the strength to face difficult emotions and situations. Bravery goes hand-in-hand with courage. Together, we will tackle the fears and obstacles that have held you back. I’ll provide the tools and strategies you need to navigate these challenges, fostering resilience and empowerment. Humor plays a vital role in our sessions. While therapy is a serious endeavor, incorporating humor can bring lightness and perspective to our work. It can help ease tension, build rapport, and remind us that even in the midst of struggle, moments of joy and laughter are possible. Through these four pillars, we will create a therapeutic relationship that supports your growth and healing. My goal is to walk alongside you, helping you uncover your strengths, navigate your challenges, and ultimately, discover a more fulfilling and authentic version of yourself.

Work HistoryThroughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals, each with their own unique stories and challenges. My journey began by supporting youth in the foster care system, helping them navigate the complexities of their lives and build a sense of stability and self-worth. This experience laid the foundation for my commitment to creating safe, supportive spaces where people can heal and grow.
I’ve also worked closely with adolescents with developmental disabilities, guiding them and their families through the intricacies of their needs and fostering an environment of understanding and acceptance. My time working with religious Jewish Orthodox individuals has deepened my appreciation for cultural sensitivity and the importance of respecting each client's unique background and beliefs.
Supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault has been a significant part of my journey. These experiences have strengthened my trauma-informed approach, allowing me to offer a compassionate and empathetic ear while helping clients rebuild their lives and regain their sense of self.
I've also had the opportunity to work with elderly adults diagnosed with brain tumors, adult caregivers, and individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. These diverse experiences have equipped me with a broad range of skills and insights, enabling me to tailor my approach to meet each client's specific needs.
In every role, my focus has been on understanding the person behind the pain, fostering a trusting relationship, and providing the tools and support needed to navigate life’s challenges. My passion for helping others has only grown stronger with each client I’ve had the honor to work with.
