What do you think is the biggest barrier today for people seeking care?

One of the biggest barriers for people seeking care today is the challenge of navigating insurance. Unfortunately, mental health services often have such low margins that many therapists find it difficult to accept what insurance companies are willing to pay. This creates a gap between those needing care and those able to provide it. While I don’t accept insurance directly, many of my clients choose to request a session receipt (superbill) to submit to their insurance for possible reimbursement. I also offer sliding scale fees to accommodate different budgets, with rates ranging from $60 to $120 per session. My goal is always to work collaboratively with clients to find a fee that works for everyone!

Work History

I help career-driven professionals and couples find their footing and create balance in the midst of today’s hectic world. My area of focus includes life and career transitions, stress management, reducing burnout, alleviating anxiety, boosting self-esteem, and enhancing communication in relationships. With my background in the music industry, I understand the unique challenges of juggling ambitious career goals with personal well-being. My integrative approach to therapy allows me to address issues such as anxiety, perfectionism, workaholism, depression, and effectively. Together, we'll explore and shift limiting thought patterns and build practical coping strategies to handle stress and avoid burnout, empowering you to tackle both life and career challenges with confidence! As a dedicated couples therapist, I specialize in helping couples navigate conflict, improve communication, and cultivate deeper emotional connections. I work with a diverse range of couples, from those preparing for marriage to those facing more complex issues such as addiction or contemplating divorce.
