I work with clients who struggle with ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I place a lot of emphasis on how the therapeutic relationship can help one build the confidence and skills necessary to cope with and overcome their personal challenges. I want clients to feel empowered to embrace change in their lives that will help them to notice an improvement in their mental health and/or quality of life.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I often use client-centered therapy techniques which involve unconditional positive regard and empathy. I utilize reflective listening techniques and mindfulness to help foster self-worth, personal growth, and self-awareness. I also will implement other techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help make changes in thoughts and behaviors as needed depending on the presenting challenge.
