What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?
I'm a great listener and am very engaged in the client's story. I am good at pulling out nuggets of the client's story to explore further. Sometimes a small detail can have a broader meaning in their life.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I use CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) and talk therapy the most. I've used Solution Focused Brief (SFBT).
For children and younger teens, I use Child-Centered Play therapy.

Work HistoryI work a fulltime job as I'm completing my counseling hours for full licensure. I've worked for the same company for over 25 years and am currently an analyst. This experience has transitioned well with clients as I can see patterns in their stories and we then discover together how these patterns affect their life.
In grad school, I completed one year of internship which consisted of seeing clients weekly in office and telehealth. Since graduation, I've been counseling clients weekly for 2 years in office and telehealth.
