The first session is a place to get to know each other and how therapy works. I will ask you some questions about your background and reasons for seeking therapy. I will also want to know what you hope to accomplish through therapy. You are invited to ask me any questions and clarify the process. My hope is that at the end of the first session you will feel comfortable with me, listened to, and hopeful that healing and wholeness is possible.

I have focused on raising my children for the past 17+ years, helping them grow and develop while managing transitions that included living in multiple Asian countries and US states. While raising my children, I was part of a team working cross-culturally to start churches and disciple people in the Christian faith. While it is only recently that I have been working as a professional therapist, my education and training was put to good use raising my family and living and working overseas.
