Work HistoryWelcome! I am a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder and director of The Centered Space Psychology Group, a boutique private practice in New York City. I provides therapy to adults aged 18+ using a warm, collaborative approach which is integrative and holistic. I use a combination of evidence-based practices including mindfulness, somatics, CBT, and DBT rooted in a narrative, psychodynamic understanding. I believe that a positive therapeutic relationship is at the heart of successful treatment.
My specialties include reproductive issues and the perinatal period. I support clients through postpartum anxiety and depression, reproductive issues, and pregnancy grief & loss. In addition, I works with parenting issues, relationships, anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions and creativity. I am an advocate of HAES and feminist theory and I am proudly LGBTQ+ allied.
I earned a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University, Brooklyn and a masters degree from Columbia University. I have specialized training in perinatal mental health, women's hormonal health, health psychology, and reproductive issues. I hold a perinatal mental health certification from Postpartum Support International (PSI), as well as completing courses through Seleni Institute, the National Curriculum on Reproductive Psychiatry, and Massachusetts General Hosptial Center for Women's Health. I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at Pratt Institute and my predoctoral internship with New York Health & Hospitals, Kings County. I also provide supervision and consultation services and enjoy cooking, reading, hiking and swimming in my leisure time.
