Work HistoryI am Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I have been advancing in my practice now for 6 years. A graduate from the University of Southern California, with a master’s in social work, I have dedicated my time to working with individuals, couples, families and children. My specialties include working with blended families, mental health crisis with children and adults, individuals experiencing homelessness, foster care, unaccompanied minors, inpatient psychiatric services, grief and loss, and life transitions.
I am skilled in utilizing various evidenced based models including, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, harm reduction, trauma focused CBT, play therapy, and family systems therapy. I also work in the areas of divorce and child custody as a therapist, co-parenting coach, and child specialist.
I teach tools designed for positive changes in personality/lifestyle/habits. Treatment plans are made between client and therapist through mutual trust, by providing a safe space, wherever the client is, and at a pace the client is comfortable in. “Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
