Work HistoryI am a licensed mental health counselor in NY and FLA working in the field for 8 years in various different roles. I have experience with children, to adults. I have worked in group practices to hospital settings helping clients suffering from anxiety, depression, relationship issues, etc. I use a cognitive behavioral approach helping clients understand their thoughts and develop ways that they can change their negative thought process to more positive thoughts to better overall well being. I believe that therapy is not one size fits all, in my opinion. I use various techniques such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and reframing thoughts to get to the root of what may be causing the discomfort that is current in everyday life.
