Work HistoryI offer a warm and gentle approach to therapy that helps you to heal, make a life that feels intentional, build momentum, make meaningful changes, and to learn to extend compassion and kindness to yourself. I have worked extensively with neurodiverse adolescents and adults. I was selected to speak at the Summit Conference discussing my work to create preventative spaces on campus to address student mental health needs while working collaboratively between agency and school professionals to create low barrier access to care. I was also selected to participate in the Jackson Youth System of Care Acute Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Services Committee working to prevent and treat youth substance use on a larger community level. I have been a guest speaker in multiple university classes and has a passion for professional development and training. I have been working as a therapist since 2020 working with youth and adults, neurodiverse populations, mental health, and co-occurring substance use. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked primarily in the arts running a dance program and starting her own business as a cake decorator. I offer mental health and/or substance use therapy for adults and teens. I see therapy as a collaborative and supportive process. I believe that with the right support, you'll realize that you already have the answers you are looking for within yourself. I use a mix of IFS, EMDR, ACT, mindfulness, and expressive arts to help you achieve your goals. Life can be challenging, but you don't have to go through it alone. Let's work together to work through old wounds, break cycles, and create a new path. It is possible for you to feel joy, hope, authenticity, creativity, and serenity again. Therapy can help. Reaching out for help is a courageous step. I'd love to help support you in this journey.
