What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I have been passionate about mental health ever since I was a child. I was one of the lucky few who knew what they wanted to do for a job at a young age and I have never questioned nor gone back on it. Mental health counseling appeals to me on multiple levels and being a therapist allows me to explore these interests in my day to day, such as supplying me with an outlet for my empathic tendencies, my desire to help people, my curiosity about the brain and how it functions, and to have a job that positively impacts the world.

Work HistoryI have been passionate about the field of psychology and counseling since I was a child. In my work I place a major focus on the therapeutic relationship, communication, and validation in treatment. I am prepared to support you in tackling the ups and downs that come with healing. Together, through mutual communication and honesty we can target the things in life that are holding the client back, whether that be trauma, relational issues, sexuality/gender concerns, life changes, etc.
I am an integrative therapist with training in a wide variety of specialties. I specialize in sex and intimacy based therapy. My work puts a major focus on interpersonal relationship, non-traditional sexual/romantic practices, and the relationship with the body. I am also trained in implementing EMDR, somatic, IFS, CBT, DBT, and psychedelic-assisted therapy.
A major goal of mine is to aid in the efforts of destigmatizing mental health and making mental health services accessible for all.
