Education
Lamar University , Master of Education, Counseling and Human Development , 2024
University of Texas Permian Basin, Bachelor of Arts, Psychology, 2020
Work HistoryHi! I serve the entire state of Texas virtually! My clients typically fall in these categories: - young adults 18-35 who are in the constant cycle of high function then freeze, always questioning if they are making the right choices, reacting instead of responding and then regretting it later, feels overstimulated, anxiety, and/or depression. - teens who are disengaged, experiencing highs and lows, struggling with self harm, and/or low self esteem -couples that are struggling to overcome communication barriers, resentment, trust, and a loss of connection. My M.Ed. in Counseling and Human Development helps me understand behaviors and how our experiences with the world around us impact those behaviors, creating those negative symptoms. Thinking systemically allows me to see how each area of life impacts the other. My goal is to support my clients to identify ways to cope, but fix the root issue! I know it's nerve-racking trying to find the best therapist. I try to get to the point with things and not include a bunch of big language fluff. If you have read this far I encourage you to check out my website and reach out for a quick and free consult.
