In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
I believe that we all have value and I seek to see others for the individuals that they are not judging them by what they have done. This transfers well to therapy as I look to connect with my clients on a personal level. The more I see the individual in front of me, the better I can assist them in moving forward and making positive life changes.
If there was one thing you wish people knew about the therapy experience who might be hesitant to try it, what would that be?
It is a safe comfortable environment. I am not here to fix you. I am here to support you and help you better understand yourself. I can provide skill sets, give you a place to talk through your life experience, and give you the encouragement to change and move forward. Although I use various modalities to assist in the therapeutic process, they are based on you as the individual.
