What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I integrate different approaches depending on each individual client, and emphasize creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. I also work with clients to build self-awareness and insight into themselves and their struggles. From that place of understanding, I help them in building skills relevant to the issues at hand and in finding inner healing in their lives.
In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
No two people are molded exactly the same, so I always endeavor to understand each unique individual and their life experiences. As everyone's life journey can look different, I believe it's important to tailor therapy approaches depending on where one is in their journey. My goal is to deeply understand you as a person, help you to discover who you are and why you think or feel the way you do, and help guide you along that journey toward something that is fulfilling and/or healing. I also believe in living life with compassion, and in that vein, I help clients shift their approach to self to one with self-love and self-compassion.
