In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I am a very calming, genuine and attentive person. I have been told by many clients that I really help them feel safe coming to therapy. It can be hard opening up about difficult things that they haven't been able to talk about before. I am focused on building a strong therapeutic connection with my clients that allows trust and vulnerability. I can be friendly and funny, but I am honest- I keep it real with my clients and will confront when necessary. I enjoy being a part of my client's journey and also learning from my clients.

Work HistoryI started my career working at a program for the homeless. We helped them find stability in their lives and set them up for success with their journey. I continued my career into Child Welfare with helping children and parents involved with the Department of Children and Families. I have also worked with women in a residential substance abuse facility helping them process their traumas and learn helpful ways to no longer engage in substance use. Over the last 5 years I have been in the private practice setting helping individuals, couples and families. I love being a therapist and helping others explore themselves and grow.
