What do you think is the biggest barrier today for people seeking care?
One of the biggest things that hold people back from seeking therapy is the idea that it means the person is "broken" or their is something "wrong with them". When in truth, it is a neutral, supportive party available to give you time, energy and focus on helping you get support, guidance and make the changes you want or need to make.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
If you were my client, you could expect our sessions to feel warm, empathetic, and supportive. I’m honest and straightforward, and would help you remember the best parts of yourself. I will trust you as the expert on your own life, while offering new perspectives. I will help you find healthy coping skills that work for you. I would try to help you leave each session being more able to handle any challenges or stress that comes your way.
