Education
University of the Cumberlands, Master of Arts, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2026
Work HistoryWhile earning my bachelor's from Duke University, I supported youth survivors of trauma and sexual assault. This meaningful work inspired me to become a therapist. I have worked with clients of all ages, from children to older adults, and have experience providing individual, couples, group, and family therapy. I completed a year of formal Narrative Therapy training at California Family Institute, learning how to ensure a trauma-informed, culturally-conscious space. Then, I trained in EMDR to help clients reprocess distressing experiences to limit the effect the past can have on the present and future, opening up new possibilities for joy. I am now at Mindful Pasadena Counseling, meeting with clients facing depression, anxiety, trauma, hardship, eating disorders, relational conflict, and more.
