Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by a genuine interest in people and their stories. I’ve always been drawn to understanding what people are going through beneath the surface and how life experiences, relationships, and stress can impact emotional well-being. Over time, that curiosity turned into a desire to not just listen, but to help people feel supported and empowered during difficult moments.
As I learned more about mental health, I realized how meaningful it can be to walk alongside someone as they make sense of their experiences and learn healthier ways to cope, communicate, and grow. I was especially inspired by the idea that therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or overwhelming—it can be a space where people feel safe, understood, and supported while working toward real, practical change.
Becoming a therapist felt like a natural fit because it allows me to combine compassion with structure and guidance. What continues to inspire me is seeing people gain insight, confidence, and relief as they move through challenges and begin to feel more like themselves again.
How does collaboration with other providers play into your work?
Collaboration with other providers is an important part of my work when it’s helpful for the client. With your consent, I’m open to working alongside psychiatrists, couples therapists, or other professionals involved in your care to make sure support feels coordinated and consistent.
I see collaboration as a way to better understand the full picture of what you’re experiencing, especially when mental health overlaps with medical concerns, medication, or relationship dynamics. When providers are aligned, it often helps therapy feel smoother and more supportive rather than fragmented.
At the same time, I’m thoughtful about keeping communication clear and respectful of your privacy. Any collaboration is always guided by your goals and comfort level, and my focus remains on making sure you feel supported, heard, and confident in the care you’re receiving.

Work HistoryMy experience as a therapist has grown from working closely with adults and couples who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Over the years, I’ve supported people who feel overwhelmed by stress, stuck in unhelpful thought patterns, or disconnected from themselves or their partners—and who want practical ways to feel better and move forward.
Much of my work has focused on anxiety and trauma-related concerns, including overthinking, emotional reactivity, and feeling on edge or emotionally drained. I also work with couples who are struggling with communication, trust, conflict, or major life transitions. Through this work, I’ve developed a strong ability to help clients slow things down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and make changes that feel realistic and sustainable.
What has shaped my approach most is spending years helping people apply therapy tools to real life—not just in session, but at home, at work, and in their relationships. I believe therapy works best when it feels supportive, collaborative, and tailored to you. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and equipped with tools that actually help you feel more grounded and confident in your day-to-day life.
