Work HistoryBefore stepping into the world of counseling, I spent over a decade in marketing and public relations, helping people and businesses communicate their stories in authentic, meaningful ways. During that time, I developed a deep understanding of how stress, burnout, and trauma often live just below the surface, even in high-achieving professionals. I saw how many people struggled silently while outwardly appearing to “have it all together.” That insight, paired with my own lived experiences, sparked my desire to help others in a deeper way. As I began my clinical training in mental health counseling, I brought with me years of experience listening closely, reading between the lines, and understanding how environment, identity, and nervous system regulation all impact how we move through the world. I now specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and life transitions, especially those in high-stress professions like the military, first responders, and entrepreneurs. Through my internship and continuing education, I’ve studied trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and polyvagal theory, approaches that help clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to make real change. My work is grounded in collaboration, compassion, and the belief that healing doesn’t have to look one specific way.
