For his doctoral internship, Dr. Smith moved to Philadelphia to work with Dr. Guy Diamond at Drexel University to continue research and learn Attachment-Based Family Therapy. Upon graduation, Dr. Smith continued to work part-time at Drexel in the Couple and Family Therapy Program as an adjunct professor and supervisor.
