Work HistoryI am originally from Miami, Florida. I obtained my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from NOVA Southeastern University, where I specialized in long-term mental illness, and got my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida State University. I have had the privilege of treating clientele from diverse backgrounds in both English and Spanish, and have experience working in a variety of settings such as inpatient programs, crisis units, community mental health centers, and outpatient clinics. While my theoretical orientation is eclectic, I lean toward Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Rogerian (or Person-Centered) approaches.
