Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I believe therapy should feel like a place where you don't have to have it all together. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, accepted, and safe enough to be yourself. We'll work together to understand what's keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills, and help you reconnect with the version of yourself that feels calm, confident, and authentic. I'll support you with compassion while also gently challenging you when it helps you grow. Therapy is a partnership, and I want you to leave each session feeling understood, hopeful, and equipped with tools you can use in everyday life.
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I've always been drawn to helping people. After spending more than two decades in education, I found that the moments I looked forward to most were the conversations where someone felt seen, understood, and a little less alone. Those experiences inspired me to become a therapist. As both a school counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor, I enjoy helping teens and adults work through anxiety, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while learning practical skills to move toward the life they want.
In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
My personal and professional experiences have taught me that life is rarely as simple as it appears on the outside. Balancing work, family, relationships, and life's unexpected challenges has given me a deep appreciation for how overwhelming things can feel. Those experiences have strengthened my empathy and remind me that everyone has a story. I strive to create a space where clients feel understood without judgment and supported as they navigate their own unique path.
