Work HistoryI began my helping journey long before I attended higher education classes. In my heart I have enjoyed learning, helping, and connecting with others, no matter their background or their culture. My curiosity has kept me going and that transitioned into my higher education process. I completed my Bachelors of Psychology at Arizona State University and continued with my Master of Counseling Degree at Northwestern University. Upon graduation I began working at a residential treatment center for teenagers (11 to 17 year old) and provided therapy, support, and continuity of transition from in-patient to IOP to other transitional housing or reunification with family. My heart was leading me to venture into other areas of my clinical work where I started working at a private practice in Gilbert Arizona where I completed my associated license (LAC) hours and was able to apply for my Licensed Professional Counselor license. That started my private practice journey. I have continued learning and growing my clinical skills by obtaining my Certified Integrate Mental Health Professional and my Certified Clinical Trauma Professional certification. I continue to learn and grow both personally and professionally and that motivates me each day.
