Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I have always naturally been drawn to helping others. I have history of volunteering in my community and one of my first jobs was working at a summer camp for kids with autism and other developmental disabilities. That was the moment when I automatically knew I wanted to do this professionally and become a therapist.

Work HistoryOur first session together will be spending time about how you have been feeling recently and what brings you to therapy. I will be asking questions in other to gather better history and background of what is going on. The first session is also about building a connection/relationship together in order to flow and do work needed in sessions to come. My style is calm with a soft tone of voice/approach. I want my clients to feel comfortable each and every session and have the ability to ask me any question or address me to assure I interpret everything correctly. My approach to my work is eclectic. I like getting to know the unique needs of my clients and using the approach that best addresses their needs. In my work, I utilize a combination of Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Dialectical Behavioral, and Mindfulness techniques.
