Work HistorySince 2012, JoAnn has been working with the Gila River Indian Community and feels honored to have the opportunity to get to know many of her clients on a personal level and assist them through whatever obstacles have been in their way. JoAnn has worked in numerous mental health capacities from crisis counseling assessments, community living program management, community-based therapy, and now in private practice since 2018. Each of these experiences have provided very unique learning opportunities for personal and professional growth that has enhanced her ability to help others work through depression, anxiety, grief, addictions, and many other life struggles. JoAnn has a heart to help people learn to help themselves in a non-threatening, sensitive, and caring environment.
