Work HistoryWhen stuck in a fog, it can be hard to find your way out. In today's society, there is often so much going on that it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by stress. As a therapist, I assist others in the journey of mental health by helping clients find their way through the fog by tapping into their own strengths as well as creating a focus on overall mental wellbeing.
I am motivated by my passion to help others create positive changes in their life. I have been heavily involved the field of mental health for over a decade at a variety of different levels, in addition to having experience with a plethora of various mental health diagnoses. Some of the areas I have extensive experiencing include depression, managing anxiety, grief, and trauma.
As a therapist, I draw from different theoretical orientations to help create an evidence based and tailored strategy for each client. Some of those different modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness. I view therapy as a journey and I aim to create a safe and open environment for that journey.
