Work HistoryI’ve spent over 20 years working in the mental health field, supporting individuals, couples, and families through a wide range of life challenges. My career has taken me through many different settings—including private practice, community mental health agencies, residential treatment programs, and foster care systems—which has given me a broad perspective on what people go through and how to help in practical, meaningful ways. I started out working with at-risk youth and young adults, providing counseling and life skills support. Early in my career, I worked closely with individuals navigating serious mental health concerns, substance use, and involvement in the legal system. That experience taught me how to build trust quickly, meet people where they are, and help them make real, lasting changes—even in difficult circumstances. Over time, I moved into roles with more responsibility, including supervising other therapists and leading clinical programs. I’ve served as a Clinical Director and Regional Clinical Director, where I oversaw therapy services and programs, supported and trained clinicians, and helped develop programs for children, adults, and families. Throughout my career, I’ve continued to maintain a hands-on therapy practice. I’ve worked with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, addiction, and major life transitions. I’ve also spent many years helping couples improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their relationships. Currently, I provide therapy both in private practice and online. In my work at Clinic AD, I collaborate with doctorate-level practitioners to treat insomnia and anxiety, using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). This allows me to offer specialized support for people who are struggling with sleep as well as the stress and anxiety that often come with it. Across all of these roles, one thing has remained consistent: I focus on creating a space where people feel understood, supported, and able to make meaningful progress. My goal is to help you not just cope, but actually feel better and move forward in your life.
