Work HistoryOver the past twelve years, I have worked in high-pressure mental health environments, including inpatient psychiatric settings, community crisis programs, and intensive outpatient care. That work taught me how clearly old survival patterns can show up in adult life. Many people learn early to overthink, avoid conflict, monitor other people’s moods, or feel responsible for everyone around them. These habits may have helped at one point, but over time they can lead to anxiety, burnout, resentment, relationship stress, and feeling disconnected from yourself. This focus on long-standing relational patterns is part of what led me to write my first book "Healing Childhood Trauma". I have also worked in workforce development, supporting adults through career transitions, professional stress, and major life changes. That experience helped me understand how someone can look capable and successful on the outside while privately feeling exhausted, stuck, or unsure how to keep carrying everything. My approach is direct, practical, and human. Whether I am providing therapy, supervising others, or working with clients in English or Spanish, my focus is helping adults understand the patterns that keep them stuck, set better boundaries, manage stress, and make decisions with more confidence.
