Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My path to becoming a therapist began with my own healing from disordered eating and trauma - experiences that shaped my life and showed me how powerful compassionate support can be. I know firsthand how hopeless recovery can feel at times, and that’s part of why this work is such an honor for me. I’m here to hold steady hope when you can’t, and to help sensitive people reclaim their strength in a world that needs their empathy, clarity, and courage.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach is warm, real, and deeply collaborative. In our sessions, you can show up exactly as you are, while I bring compassion, curiosity, and practical tools to help you heal. I’m a human first and a therapist second, so if it’s helpful, I’m open about my own experiences, but the work is always centered on you. Once we’ve built trust, I won’t hesitate to call out any BS that's getting in your way. Many clients describe my presence as grounding and safe, and I aim to help you feel supported enough to make the shifts that will truly change your life.

Work HistoryFor the past 15 years, I've helped wonderful, sensitive humans heal from eating disorders, disordered eating, and the impact of trauma. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles in 2010 and have supported clients across many different levels of treatment, which has given me a deep understanding of how recovery unfolds in real life. I’ve also had the privilege of training newer clinicians, which has strengthened my commitment to offering care that’s compassionate, individualized, and truly supportive. My work is guided by warmth, gentle curiosity, and the belief that every behavior makes sense in context.
