Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I view therapy as a partnership. While you are the absolute expert on your own life, I am an active observer and bring a mix of warmth, clinical insight, and directness. I’m not just here to listen but to help you connect the dots between your past patterns and your current roadblocks.
In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
I’ve learned through my own transitions in corporate career and therapy that "success" is hollow if it requires you to suppress parts of yourself. My philosophy is identity-informed. I don’t want you to "leave your baggage at the door." Whether it’s your cultural heritage, your professional drive, or your "unpolished" anxieties, healing comes from integrating all those pieces into a cohesive, authentic whole. My clinical philosophy emphasizes processing experiences rather than just venting about them.
If you could pick one movie or book that influenced your approach to therapy, what would it be and why?
If I had to choose a philosophical anchor for my practice, it would be Alain de Botton, specifically the content he has as part of his "School of Life" philosophy.
de Botton’s work bridges the gap between our internal struggles and the external "hustle" of modern life, and it resonates with me for a few reasons. He has a way of suggesting that we are all complex, contradictory, and driven by invisible childhood scripts, and my philosophy is built on this. Therapy isn't about becoming "perfect" but about developing the curiosity (and compassion!) to understand why we react the way we do. My favorite quote of his is "maturity begins with the capacity to admit to our own craziness without defensiveness."

Work HistoryMy path to becoming a therapist wasn’t a straight line, and I think that’s one of my greatest strengths in the room with you. Even now as a therapist, I continue to work in the world of corporate and tech culture. I know firsthand what it feels like to navigate burnout, "always-on" culture, and the specific anxiety that comes with trying to maintain an external life when things feel "off" on the inside.
I took that understanding of modern stress and grounded it in clinical training at Los Angeles City College’s Life Skills Center. There, I worked with a diverse range of individuals facing major life transitions, grief, and the weight of systemic challenges. Now, I blend that experience with a deep clinical focus on identity-informed and culturally responsive care. I don’t just look at your symptoms but the systems you live in (your career, your family history, and your community) to help you find a way forward that actually feels sustainable.
