What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

When working with me, it's important to know that I approach each person with empathy, respect, and a strong commitment to understanding their unique experiences. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their challenges and work toward meaningful change. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, and I tailor my methods to fit the specific needs and goals of each individual. Whether you're facing life transitions, struggling with self-esteem, or dealing with anxiety, depression, or grief, I strive to help you build resilience, develop coping skills, and foster personal growth at your own pace. Together, we will work toward finding solutions that empower you to lead a more fulfilling and balanced life.

If there was one thing you wish people knew about the therapy experience who might be hesitant to try it, what would that be?

If you're hesitant to try therapy, I want you to know that it’s not about being "fixed" or having all the answers right away—it's about having a supportive space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. Therapy is a process of self-discovery and growth, and it can help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, develop new coping strategies, and find ways to move forward with more clarity and confidence. It’s normal to feel uncertain at first, but taking that first step can lead to positive, lasting change, and you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone.

What does success look like in therapy? How will a client know that they are making progress?

Success in therapy looks different for each person, but generally, it involves feeling more empowered, confident, and equipped to handle life's challenges. Progress can be seen in many forms, including improved emotional regulation, a shift in mindset, or the development of healthier coping strategies. You may notice you are more self-aware, experiencing less distress, and able to navigate difficult situations with greater ease. Progress can also be marked by an increased sense of clarity about your goals, a better understanding of your behaviors and patterns, and improved relationships and self-esteem. Ultimately, success is about feeling more in control of your life and having the tools and support to move forward in a way that aligns with your values and aspirations. As therapy continues, you may notice you are facing challenges with greater resilience and confidence.
