Professional Background
Licensure
Under Supervision: Kaitlyn Vincent , Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, 162759 is practicing under the supervision of Stephanie Bossy (California, LMFT, 127411) at Bay Area Somatic Therapy Center.
Please, note: A clinician listed as being “clinically supervised” is completing clinical hours toward their licensure. They have one or more fully licensed clinical supervisors that often have special training. They consult with their supervisor(s) on all of their cases.
Education
California Institute of Integral Studies , Master of Professional Counseling, Somatic Psychology , 2025 — I have my master's in somatic psychology which explores how to support people in connecting more deeply to their bodies. I draw from somatic psychology, psychodynamics, parts-based approaches, mindfulness, and frameworks rooted in liberation and community care. Therapy with me is relational, collaborative, and gently paced. My hope is that it becomes a space where all of you feels welcomed - your history, your complexity, and your becoming.
Work HistoryI entered graduate school after finding joy in being a peer counselor and working with people from all ages, cultures, abilities, and backgrounds. I have been trained in Polyvagal Theory, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Somatic Experiencing, and eastern mindfulness practices.
