Work HistoryMy name is Kamryn Russell, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Spreading Your Wings, LLC. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families who may be struggling with behavioral issues, communication, and overall emotional success. I have experience working in the school system and with the foster care system. I have a certification in trauma which helps aid me with specific tools to use with your child. I believe parents are the key to positive change, so I will work along side you throughout the therapy process. Kids are resilient, but oftentimes, therapy at a young age can help change the path for adulthood. By utilizing a strength-based and trauma focused approach, I can help process through your child’s emotions and achieve progress to reach their goals. Therapy should be fun and engaging for your child, so I often incorporate play and art. A good therapy session always involves a smile or laugh, and it may involve an empowering cry as well. My goal is for your child to feel heard, seen, and validated. Life is stressful, and we all need help from time to time.
