What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I entered this field to make a change in the world but realized that in order to help the world I had to join it first. I discovered my "why" and that entailed helping others so that they can continue thriving and help others along the way.
In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
I am a daughter of immigrants and grew up with limited resources as a child. My experiences as a child allowed me to understand and empathize with peoples struggles. Through my own upbringing I learned the value in perseverance and commitment to doing better. I can empathize with others struggles because I endured my own. My personal goal is to leave the world a better place than when I entered it.
