Education
University of Phoenix, Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Certified Professional Counselor Intern, 2022
Work HistoryMost therapists treat addiction and mental health as separate problems, but if you're dealing with both, you already know they're not. Depression fuels drinking, anxiety leads to using, and substance use makes everything worse, it's a cycle that standard therapy often misses because it only addresses half the picture. I'm a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Professional Counselor Intern who graduated from University of Phoenix in 2022 with my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I specialize in co-occurring disorders, which means I work with people whose substance use and mental health issues are tangled together in ways that make it hard to know which came first or how to address either one. I also work with teens and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, identity struggles, trauma, and major life transitions. Growth happens when you feel safe enough to be honest about what's really going on, and that's what I work to create. If you're ready to figure this out, contact me to schedule a consultation through Insight Therapy Solutions at 888-409-8976.
