Education
Loyola University Chicago, Master of Arts, Pastoral Counseling, 2017
Work HistoryI received my Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling degree from Loyola University Chicago and I am currently licensed in Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). I began my career as a counselor at a not-for-profit community mental health center where I provided individual and group therapy services to folks diagnosed with severe mental illnesses. I also worked for a private practice group for a number of years and received mentorship from a leader who shared the same passion for helping others. I draw from various modalities of therapy and take a collaborative approach to help address each client’s unique need. I incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, and Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy (SIP) to promote positive and effective changes which lead to mental and spiritual growth and development.
