Work HistoryMy passion for helping neurodivergent individuals and students didn’t start in a therapy office—it began in classrooms and school counseling centers. For over 10 years, I worked closely with children, teens, and young adults as both a teacher and school counselor. It was there that I saw firsthand how anxiety, ADHD, Autism, and other behavioral disorders can make everyday life feel overwhelming. I’ve spent countless hours helping students decode social situations, develop organizational systems that actually work for their brains, and navigate the pressures of school and early adulthood. Whether it was coaching a teen through their first job interview, supporting a college student learning to advocate for accommodations, or helping a young adult figure out what they want to do after high school, I realized that traditional approaches often miss the mark. That’s why I became a therapist—to provide the kind of support I wish had existed for my students: practical, evidencd-based, and tailored to their individual needs.
