Get To Know Me
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I take my work and my clients’ progress very seriously, but I also believe that change doesn’t always have to feel heavy. I often bring in appropriate humor, creativity, and problem-solving to make CBT skills more relatable and fit into your life style. I know from my own experience how challenging life balance can be, which allows me to approach therapy with authenticity and compassion while also modeling practical strategies for growth.
What does a first session with you look like?
A first session with me is all about getting to know you and your story. We’ll focus on understanding your current biggest struggles and what changes you’d like to see over the next few months. I’ll also share more about my approach to therapy so you have a clear sense of how I work, and together we can decide if it feels like a good fit. Sometimes I’ll offer a bit of self-reflective homework to think about between sessions, so you can start connecting the work can we do in therapy to your everyday life.
